Downey Brand Continues to Rank High in Vault 2024 Results
Vault has released the results of its most recent Law Firm Associate Survey, placing Downey Brand at No. 6 overall among their “Best Midsize Law Firms to Work For.”
Additionally, Downey Brand received Top 10 Rankings in the following “Quality of Life” categories among midsize firms across the country:
- 4th in Quality of Work
- 5th in Career Outlook
- 7th in Formal Training
- 7th in Informal Training, Mentoring & Sponsorship
- 7th in Pro Bono
- 7th in Satisfaction
- 8th in Hours
Downey Brand’s Vault rankings were derived from Vault’s Law Firm Associate Survey, in which associates were asked to anonymously rate their firms on a 1 to 10 scale for each of several “Quality of Life” categories.
For the category “Best Midsize Law Firms to Work For,” Vault calculated the results using a formula that weighs associate ratings in 11 different areas: 25% overall satisfaction; 10% hours; 10% compensation; 10% quality of work; 10% informal training and mentoring; 10% culture; 5% business outlook; 5% associate/partner relations; 5% leadership transparency; 5% formal training; and 5% career outlook.
