Ben Galic assists clients on a wide range of real estate and corporate transactional matters.
Ben represents landlords, tenants, lenders, and business owners in a wide range of real estate transactional matters involving the acquisition, financing, leasing, operation, and disposition of commercial and agricultural properties.
Ben also advises clients on a variety of general corporate and business matters, including entity formation, operating agreements, strategic transactions, and day-to-day commercial contracting.
Ben brings additional transactional experience from his prior role as an associate at a large international law firm, where he represented sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors in co-investments and complex secondary transactions. His practice focused on advising both buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of pre-existing investor commitments in private equity and other alternative investment funds, with transactions ranging from several hundred million dollars to approximately $2 billion in value.
Ben is known for providing practical, business-oriented counsel and helping clients navigate transactions with efficiency and attention to detail.

Secondary Transactions
- Represented a Southeast Asian sovereign wealth fund in two secondary sales of large
portfolios of interests with deal sizes of approximately $1.7 billion and $2.1 billion. - Represented two lead investors in the purchase of fund interests from Wells Fargo &
Company totaling over $2 billion in deal size. - Represented one of Australia’s largest investment managers in a recapitalization of a
portfolio of 27 fund interests into a $600+ million continuation fund. - Represented a U.S. based investment management firm in a tender offer in connection
with the purchase of a portfolio of fund interests. - Represented a U.S. based investment management firm in a secondary sale of a portfolio
of 35 fund interests totaling over $200 million in deal size. - Represented U.S. based institutional investors and foreign sovereign investors in several
secondary sales and acquisitions of portfolios of fund interests.
Co-Investments
- Represented sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and institutional investors in
co-investments ranging in size from several million to several hundred million.
In his free time, Ben enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, and seeing live music.
