Downey Brand is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Galvin, Sophia Castillo, and Patrick Veasy have been recognized as Top Authors in the JD Supra 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards for their thought leadership and writing on key topics in the following categories:

  • Jeffrey Galvin – Wealth Management
  • Sophia Castillo – Food & Beverage
  • Patrick Veasy – Food & Beverage and Environment

In its sixth year, the Readers’ Choice Awards recognize top authors and firms read by C-suite executives, in-house counsel, media, and other professionals across the JD Supra platform. JD Supra editors chose the 28 main topics covered in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards for their timeliness as well as their proven, ongoing importance. In each category, they recognized ten authors for their high visibility and engagement. In total, across all categories, 265 authors were recognized for their excellence and achievement out of a pool of approximately 60,000.

Jeff is a partner in the firm’s Sacramento office where he represents clients across Northern California in trust and estate litigation and related civil disputes.
