Galen Gentry Joins Gold Country Wildlife Rescue’s Board of Directors

Downey Brand is excited to announce that Galen Gentry has been appointed to the Gold Country Wildlife Rescue’s Board of Directors.

“My wife and I have been big supporters of Gold Country Wildlife Rescue ever since we learned about the organization. Not only do they have an enormous impact on the life of each sick, injured, or orphaned wild animal that it treats and rehabilitates, but they also contribute to maintaining the health of our local ecosystems—which often depend on the diversity of wildlife.

I’m inspired by the dedication and compassion that Gold Country Wildlife Rescue’s leadership and staff show all of the animals in their care—from hummingbirds and racoons to coyotes and bears—as well as the many ways that they promote public awareness of wildlife ecology and conservation. I’m honored to be a part of an organization that makes such a big difference in our community.”

Founded in 1991, Gold Country Wildlife Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife permitted through the California Department of Fish & Wildlife and the US Fish & Wildlife Service.

Galen currently serves as counsel in the firm’s Litigation department, where he represents individuals and businesses in complex litigation disputes involving business, real estate, bankruptcy, intellectual property, and employment.

A passionate outdoorsman, Galen enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and trail running activities that reflect his deep appreciation for nature and wildlife.
