Downey Brand Welcomes Samuel Micon to its Employment Practice in Sacramento

Downey Brand is pleased to announce the addition of associate Samuel Micon to its employment counseling and litigation practice in Sacramento.

Sam represents public and private employers in an array of counseling and litigation matters, from wage and hour to discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. Before joining Downey Brand, Sam worked at Jones Day in San Francisco, defending corporate and non-profit employers in federal and state court and before the National Labor Relations Board.

Sam earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and was accepted into the Thurston Honors Society. Sam is also a lifetime member of the Order of the Coif. While pursuing his law degree, Sam gained valuable experience as an extern for the Federal District Court, Northern District of California. Prior to law school, Sam earned his undergraduate degree with high honors in Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
