Downey Brand Welcomes Associate Stephanie R. Steevie to its Trusts and Estates Practice

Downey Brand is pleased to announce Stephanie R. Steevie has joined its trusts and estates practice group as an associate in the firm’s Sacramento office.

Stephanie Steevie’s practice encompasses all aspects of trust and estate law, including estate planning, trust administration, probate, trust and will contests, fiduciary misconduct, beneficiary rights, and complex estate litigation. Known for her thoughtful, client-centered approach, she is dedicated to guiding trustees, executors, beneficiaries, and other interested parties through complex and often emotionally charged matters with clarity and care.

With legal training and life experience in three different countries, Stephanie brings a unique multi-jurisdictional perspective to her practice. She earned her LL.M. from the University of California Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2024, her J.D. with Class 1 Honors from Bond University in Australia in 2022, and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of British Columbia in 2019.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spin classes, planning her next travel adventure, and discovering new restaurants. On weekends, you can often find her browsing for local treats at the Midtown Farmers Market.
