Downey Brand Supports Ready for Robla

Downey Brand was pleased to support Ready for Robla, an annual community event that brings together schools, churches, partner organizations, and volunteers to help local children and families in the Robla School District prepare for the new school year.

Throughout June, Downey Brand attorneys and staff collected new socks and underwear, as well as new and gently used clothing and shoes for students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Members of the Downey Brand team also volunteered with Adventure Christian Church to sort and organize donations ahead of the August 1 Ready for Robla shopping event, where volunteers helped families select clothing and other essentials at no cost.

More than 150 local families participated in this year’s event. In addition to children’s clothing, a selection of men’s and women’s clothing was available for parents and caregivers. Participating organizations also provided students with new backpacks, school supplies, food, and other essentials.

Thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered their time to make this event possible. Downey Brand was honored to join Adventure Christian Church and other community partners in supporting Robla School District students and their families as they prepare for the year ahead.
