Downey Brand Senior Associate Promoted to Counsel

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that Christopher Rendall-Jackson, previously a senior associate in the firm’s Environmental Law practice, has been promoted to Counsel. Chris primarily works out of the San Francisco office where he represents clients in energy and utilities matters, CEQA matters, and environmental litigation, compliance, and enforcement matters. Chris’s clients include municipalities, manufacturers, private developers, ranchers, trade associations as well as other local, national, and international organizations.

Chris graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008, and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School in 2012.

Prior to law school, Chris was a professional ballet dancer for 14 years and earned the position of principal dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. He continues to be active in the arts community through teaching and coaching young dancers.
