Downey Brand Promotes Two Attorneys to Counsel

Downey Brand is excited to announce that Meghan Quinn and Brian Hamilton have been promoted to the position of Counsel effective January 1, 2022.

Meghan is an environmental law attorney whose practice focuses on regulatory issues, enforcement actions, and citizens suits that arise under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (Clean Water Act) and Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act. She excels at translating complex technical information into legal arguments to efficiently address client needs.

Meghan joined the firm in 2018 and brings with her nearly ten years of environmental law experience. In addition to her legal skill, she is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, and back country skiing throughout the American West.

Brian Hamilton is a water and environmental law litigator with a background in commercial, real estate, and employment litigation. In addition to his courtroom experience, Brian frequently achieves favorable resolutions for his clients through successful mediation and negotiated settlements.

Brian joined the firm in 2019 and enjoys spending time with his wife Christina cooking, traveling, and playing with their dog, Ziggy. Brian, a legitimate trivia guru, is also a two-time Jeopardy! champion.
