Downey Brand Partner Selected to Executive Committee of Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court

Downey Brand is excited to announce that partner Jeff Galvin was recently selected to join the Executive Committee of the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court.
A member of the Inn since 2010, Jeff said, “The Inn is a wonderful place to learn from and alongside colleagues from across the Greater Sacramento legal community. I’m delighted to join the leadership of the Inn and look forward to helping it continue to thrive in the years ahead.”
The Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court, based at McGeorge School of Law, was created in 1988 to promote excellence in the legal profession through education, mentorship, and community outreach. The Inn’s multi-generational membership includes judicial officers, law professors, attorneys, and law students. The Inn is affiliated with the American Inns of Court, a national organization based in Washington D.C.
Jeff litigates across Northern California and guides clients through complicated trust and estate litigation and related civil disputes, including will and trust contests, financial elder abuse claims, and trust/probate administration conflicts. Jeff created and edits Trust on Trial, a blog covering recent developments and trends in trust and estate litigation. In addition, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Trusts and Estates Section of the California Lawyers Association.
Jeff is also active in the community. He is the Treasurer and a Director of Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services and has served as a Chair of the Sacramento County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee.
