Strong women build strong communities!

This past Saturday, we sponsored and participated in Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s annual Women Build, a month-long event in March where over 550 women of all different industries and backgrounds join Habitat for Humanity on the jobsite to make a lasting impact on the lives of families in need by building more accessible housing in the Greater Sacramento and Yolo regions. It was a gorgeous morning well spent with a team of amazing women painting, digging, weeding, and more to build safe, affordable, and equitable neighborhoods where local women and their families have the opportunity to thrive.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization that seeks to put love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every person should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.

A big thank you to Habitat for Humanity for the opportunity to participate in Women Build 2024 and for the life-changing work you do!
