March 5, 2021

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that senior associate and litigation attorney Christopher Kolkey has been selected to participate in the Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation’s Leadership Sacramento, Class of 2021.

Chris is one of only 38 participants selected to participate in this year’s program and follows in the footsteps of several Downey Brand attorneys who have graduated from the program since its founding in 1985. A roster of this year’s class, representing a cross-section of individuals from various community and professional backgrounds, is available here.

Chris is a member of the firm’s litigation department, where he represents clients in a range of disputes involving construction, trusts and estates, and complex business matters. Chris has litigated cases on two continents, both the west and east coasts, in state and federal courts, and before arbitration panels.

About Leadership Sacramento

Dedicated to developing community-minded business and civic leaders, Leadership Sacramento is a year-long collaborative program that provides each class with a behind-the-scenes perspective on some of the most significant issues impacting the region’s economy.

The program includes monthly sessions dedicated to a particular subject or issue. Each session is designed to give class participants a unique hands-on experience furthering their knowledge and understanding of the subject/issue, demonstrating its impact on the region, and providing information and connections to enable immediate community action. In addition to the monthly topics, each class works collectively to select and complete a community enrichment project benefiting a local nonprofit organization, project, or cause.
