Retirement and Insurance Coordinator
Essential Functions:
Retirement Administration:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retirement program, including enrollment, contribution management, and distribution of benefits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding retirement plan questions, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with retirement plan brokers to ensure accurate and timely processing of retirement plan contributions and payments.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with retirement plan regulations and guidelines.
• Prepare and distribute reports on retirement plan performance and financial projections to management.
• Coordinate retirement education programs for employees, including workshops and informational sessions.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in retirement plan regulations and guidelines, and communicate any necessary updates to relevant stakeholders.
Insurance Administration:
• Professional Liability Policy: Prepare applications for quotes, generally monitor and maintain data regarding firm/attorney census, current and proposed practice areas, claim history; correspondence, communication and coordination with agents/brokers and Administrator; coordinate handling of claims with in-house E&O counsel.
• Workers’ Compensation Policy and Employment Practices Liability Policy: Prepare application for coverage on an annual basis.
Qualifications:
• 4 or more years in retirement plan administration required.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Experience in the legal industry is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
This position also requires knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations concerning administration of retirement plan benefits and issues relating to participants and employers, trust accounting and reporting, regulatory compliance and filings.
The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year, depending upon experience.
