2024 California Water Law Symposium - 1913 to Now: Diversifying Solutions to Water Governance in California

Downey Brand partner and water law attorney Rebecca Smith will be taking part in the 20th Annual California Water Symposium on February 24th at the University of San Francisco School of Law. More than a hundred years after the implementation of the Water Commission Act of 1913, the 20th Water Law Symposium searches for a sustainable water future for all, gathering diverse stakeholder perspectives to take a closer look at California’s present water management: What are the best practices already in place? Where is there room to grow?

Rebecca’s panel discussion – titled Water Rights Enforcement in California – is organized by the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and includes the following moderator panelists.
