Pesticide Drift: Compliance, Liability, and Protection

Co-presenter, 10th Annual Spray Safe Program

Downey Brand partners John McCarron and Dale Stern will be presenting at the 10th Annual Spray Safe event sponsored by CAPCA, the Yolo County Ag Department, and the Yolo County Farm Bureau on February 6, 2019. Their presentation will provide an overview of the regulatory compliance steps necessary to avoid drift and reduce exposure to liability, as well as provide proactive steps and up-to-date information on what to do it a drift occurs.

The Spray Safe program was created to reduce spray drift, enhance worker safety, and protect public health through more effective communications. Its mission is to encourage the safe application of agricultural chemicals through education and farmer-to-farmer communication and cooperation.
