Conference Overview

Developers and local governments are familiar with many land use regulations, but flood plains are special areas with a unique interplay of local, state, and Federal issues. In addition, regulations are regularly changing in the management and development of FEMA floodplains and adjacent land areas, and the implications for local governments and property owners alike will be significant. This program will provide public sector representatives, property owners, development consultants, attorneys and others with interests with the information essential to the future management of and development opportunities within these areas.
