2021 California Water Law Symposium, Climate Change: Adapting to a Warming Climate
Downey Brand partner and water law attorney Rebecca Smith will be taking part in a panel discussion number four at the 2021 California Water Law Symposium on January 30th. The panel discussion – titled Innovations in Water Storage As A Response To Climate Change – will focus on possible adaptations to California’s water storage system, including groundwater recharge and watershed restoration. The panel will also address the legal, scientific, and policy background of these adaptations and will examine other water storage concerns including regulation, data, funding, and legal and political challenges
