Moderator/Panelist, Floodplain Management Association's 2019 Annual Conference

Two Downey Brand partners will be traveling to San Diego to participate in a legal panel at the 2019 Floodplain Management Association’s Annual Conference September 3-6. Andrea Clark will be moderating the panel and Scott Shapiro will be participating as a panelist. The topic of the panel is “Fundamentals of Flood Management Law and Liability.” The panel of flood management professionals will cover some of the essentials of flood management law at the federal, state, and local level as well as offer perspectives on the role of liability concerns in flood project development and implementation.
