December 5, 2019

Co-presenter, ACWA 2019 Fall Conference

Downey Brand attorney Austin Cho will present alongside Jessica Diaz of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck at ACWA’s 2019 Fall Conference. Austin and Jessica will offer a brief overview of many complex subject matters, with a focus both on ethics principles and key substantive areas of ethics laws. Elected and appointed officials of cities, counties, and special districts in California are required by Assembly Bill (AB) 1234 to refresh their knowledge of governmental ethics laws and principles every two years.  The AB 1234 Ethics Training provides a comprehensive two-hour overview of the ethical pitfalls to avoid and best practices to follow that satisfies that statutory requirement.
