Join us for our 2022 Annual Employment Law Briefing on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Noon via Zoom. Downey Brand employment law partners Cass Ferrannini and Liz Stallard and senior associate Alex LaFountain from our employment law team will provide an overview of significant legal developments in California and federal employment law, including a review of employment-related legislation and recent court decisions impacting employers in 2022. Topics will include:
- COVID-19 updates, including the current status of employer obligations and government mandates;
- Changes to wage and hour laws, including additional AB5 exemptions and regular rate issues;
- Employer obligations related to telecommuting employees, record retention, and separation agreements; and
- Recent court decisions impacting PAGA claims and arbitration agreements.
