Annie Amaral Named 40 Under 40 by Sacramento Business Journal

November 17, 2017

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that litigation partner Annie Amaral was recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Sacramento Business Journal. She is one of 40 young professionals being honored this year for her professional excellence and contributions to the community.

40 Under 40 honorees are selected each year by a panel of independent judges who evaluate nominees based on their accomplishments in the workplace, leadership qualities, and civic service.  Honorees are all young professionals under the age of 40.

Amaral is a litigator with more than 12 years of experience representing clients, including industrial and land use companies, retail distributors, banks and financial institutions, and solo entrepreneurs in complex business litigation disputes. Amaral is a member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Sacramento, Class of 2017 and currently serves on the Board of Junior Achievement of Sacramento. She is a passionate advocate for the local chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (she served on their board for six years from 2009 to 2014) and volunteers annually for Habitat for Humanity at their local community builds alongside other Downey Brand attorneys.

Amaral and the other 39 remarkable 40 Under 40 honorees are featured in the November 17, 2017 supplement published by the Sacramento Business Journal.
