Dale started his adult life out of college as an Air Force navigator flying about 3000 hours in KC-135A air refueling tankers and C-141A cargo airplanes. He remained in the Reserves until retiring after 20 years of service.
Meantime, Dale work in the title insurance business doing title searches, drafting preliminary title reports, title policies and handling escrows. This work piqued his interest in a legal career and so it was off to law school.
Upon graduation from McGeorge School of Law in 1981 the prime interest rate was about 20%, the Fed was in the process of wringing double digit inflation out of the economy and the nation was in the throes of the so-called “Reagan Recession”. Not surprisingly, Dale focused his efforts and bankruptcy, financial restructurings and insolvency.
Dale served six years on the Board of the Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross and served 3 years as an officer of the chapter culminating with his being the Chapter Chairman in 1994 and 1995.
