Practice emphasizes estate planning, estate taxes, trusts and probate. Practice has included the preparation of numerous U.S. and California estate and gift tax returns and audits thereof; preparation of numerous inter vivos trusts including charitable trusts, various tax sensitive trusts, life insurance trusts, and various other related devices designed to minimize estate and gift tax consequences to family members; preparation of limited partnership agreements and various valuation techniques to minimize transfer tax consequences. Practice also includes administration of trusts and transfer of assets pursuant to trust provisions and various probate proceedings when appropriate and necessary.
