Patrick Veasy Joins Downey Brand’s Environmental Practice

Downey Brand recently welcomed Patrick Veasy to the firm’s Environmental Law practice where he represents a variety of private sector clients in environmental compliance and enforcement matters before state agency hearing boards and federal courts.

Patrick earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, in 2014 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Michigan in 2009. While in law school, Patrick was a member of the Hastings Law Journal and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Phyllis J. Hamilton at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and to the Honorable Ming W. Chin at the Supreme Court of California.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys being outdoors and exploring hiking trails in Northern California with his wife. He is also an avid college football fan and enjoys cheering on the Michigan Wolverines.
