Jeffrey S. Galvin Joins the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association’s Trusts and Estates Section

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that partner Jeffrey S. Galvin has started a six-year term on the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association’s Trusts and Estates Section.  The Executive Committee leads the Section, which has more than 6,000 California attorneys.  Its mission is to further the knowledge of lawyers and to monitor and participate in the development of laws that impact trusts and estates.

Jeff guides clients through complicated trust and estate litigation and related civil disputes, including will and trust contests, financial elder abuse claims, and trust/probate administration conflicts.  He litigates cases across Northern California.

In addition to his legal work, Jeff is a blogger and community service leader.  He edits Trust on Trial, a blog he created to cover recent developments and hot topics in California trust and estate litigation. Jeff also dedicates much of his free time to community service. He serves as Director and Treasurer of Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, Community Service Chair of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council, and Co-Chair of the Sacramento County Bar Association Pro Bono Committee.
