Downey Brand Promotes New Counsel

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that David E. Cameron has been promoted to the position of Counsel effective January 1, 2019.
Cameron is a water rights attorney. His litigation practice is focused on securing and protecting water rights in state and federal court, as well as before the State Water Resources Control Board. Additionally, Cameron provides counsel regarding the purchase and sale of water rights, groundwater management, water supply assessments, and related environmental and endangered species issues. He represents public agencies including water districts, irrigation districts, cities, counties, as well as agricultural interests large and small, statewide.
Cameron joined the firm in 2014 after working as an attorney in Fresno, where he honed his litigation skills on water rights, CEQA compliance, and agricultural issues. He earned a J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge in 2011 and a B.A. in Political Science and Legal Studies from University of California at Berkeley in 2003.
