Mark is deeply passionate about international travel and meeting and forming lasting connections with foreign peoples. While emigrating to the United States as refugees from former Soviet republics in the early 90s, his parents lived in several countries along their journey to save up the necessary funds to eventually make it to the U.S. Regardless of the country, they were welcomed by locals with open arms and were sustained largely by the outpouring of love they received. Mark and his wife spend their time traveling abroad seeking to reconnect with and repay the love and generosity that carried his family to America.
