Kristopher Grant is a passionate and dedicated advocate, helping clients navigate complex litigation and employment law matters.
Kris defends employers in wage and hour class actions and lawsuits involving claims for harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and unfair business practices. Kris’s experience spans the entire litigation lifecycle, from pretrial motions and pleading to complex discovery, depositions, expert handling, and, when necessary, trial. Recognizing the value of efficient and effective resolution, he is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration, which he leverages to help clients mitigate costs and minimize business disruptions.
Before earning his law degree from the University of California at Davis, Kris served in the United States Marine Corps, completing two combat deployments in Iraq. His military background brings a unique level of discipline and commitment to his legal practice, sharpening his strategic thinking and instilling resilience. These qualities serve him well in the nuanced and challenging field of employment law, where clients value his steadfast approach and tactical insight.

- Internship, Magistrate Judge Dennis M. Cota, United States District Court of the Eastern District of California, 2021
- Defended a motion for summary judgment and recovered more than $250,000.00 in a settlement for a breach of fiduciary duty claim against a fellow partner in a partnership who embezzled partnership funds.
- Discovered multiple wage and hour violations not plead in the complaint which lead to an early resolution of a PAGA claim for an employer with more than 50 employees.
- Recovered the entire deposit for a wedding reservation against a venue in a settlement where the force majeure clause provided the employer with the option to reschedule the event in the case of a qualifying event.
Kris is an active supporter of the UC Davis Trial Practice Honor Board and enjoys coaching teams and serving as a volunteer judge for the many Trial Practice Tournaments. When he is not at work, Kris is enjoying the hectic energy of his four children and beautiful wife while camping, hiking, and watching the various sports they play. Kris has also traveled to England, Italy, and Spain and hopes to enjoy more international travel in the coming years.
