Patrick Veasy assists clients facing complex environmental compliance, regulatory, and litigation issues to identify pragmatic solutions and achieve effective results.

Patrick represents and assists public and private sector clients in environmental compliance and enforcement matters involving administrative agencies, and in state and federal court. His practice focuses on water quality issues under the California Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act and federal Clean Water Act in relation to administrative and judicial enforcement matters, as well as petitions challenging final agency actions. Patrick routinely works on cases involving municipal wastewater, industrial process water, and all types of storm water discharges (municipal, industrial, and construction). In his practice, Patrick also represents clients on environmental site remediation issues involving soil and groundwater contamination, including at underground storage tank and chlorinated solvent sites, and involving emerging contaminants, such as per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Finally, Patrick has experience assisting clients on other environmental compliance and enforcement matters under the Clean Air Act and California’s Proposition 65. Due to the complex nature of his practice, Patrick routinely works with technical consultants as part of a multi-faceted, collaborative approach to provide creative, practical, and cost-efficient counsel to his clients.
