Panelist, 28th Annual Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite®

Downey Brand is pleased to sponsor the 28th annual Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite®. The conference is nationally recognized as the largest and most prestigious gathering in California of leaders in environmental, land use, and natural resources law.

Downey Brand partner Christian Marsh will be taking part in a panel discussion at this year’s conference. The panel will discuss the evolution of the public trust doctrine since National Audubon v. Superior Court, the implications of recent decisions affecting public trust uses in surface waters, and pending cases striving to push the doctrine to new limits.

This exciting discussion will also feature moderator Rick Frank from the UC Davis School of Law as well as Christian’s co-panelists Russell McGlothlin of O’Melveny & Meyers LLP and Deborah Sivas of the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University.

Two other Downey Brand partners will be participating in panels at this year’s conference:

Kevin O’Brien, Panelist, Deltas in the Delta

Nicole Granquist, Panelist, LA River: Competing or Compatible Visions – Stormwater Use and River Restoration
