Coffee and Compliance: The Clean Air Act Under the Trump Administration

May 12, 2020

Mapistry's Weekly Webinar Series

On Tuesday, May 12th, Downey Brand partner Darrin Gamblin will be taking part in one of Mapistry’s weekly Coffee and Compliance chat-style webinars. Darrin will be discussing the evolution of the Clean Air Act under the Trump Administration and the potential implications for California’s local air districts.

The U.S. EPA under the Trump administration has proposed several changes and reforms to Clean Air Act programs affecting stationary sources (e.g., industrial facilities and energy operations) including the “once in” guidance for Air Toxics Rules, source aggregation, and New Source Review reform. Darrin will be reviewing the key changes, discuss the status (i.e., whether the changes have been adopted through an Executive Order, guidance, or formal EPA rule making), and implications. Darrin will also discuss whether these changes are applicable in California and local air districts.
