August 26, 2020
Mapistry's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Virtual Summit
Downey Brand partner and environmental attorney Darrin Gambelin will be taking part in a virtual roundtable discussion at Mapistry’s EHS Virtual Summit on August 26, 2020. The discussion will focus on the Clean Air Act under the current administration and will address proposed changes and reforms to Clean Air Act programs affecting stationary sources (e.g., industrial facilities and energy operations) including the “once in” guidance for Air Toxics Rules, source aggregation, and New Source Review reform. The presenters will review the key changes, discuss the status (i.e., whether the changes have been adopted through an Executive Order, guidance, or formal EPA rulemaking), and implications. Specifically, for those locals who will be attending, Darrin will address whether these changes are applicable in California and local air districts,
Mapistry has designed the virtual roundtable discussions to be smaller in size, they will bring attendees together to learn and network. The first 10-15 minutes will feature a guest speaker sharing insights about an emerging EHS challenge and the remaining time will be dedicated to questions and peer discussion facilitated by a moderator.
