Preparing for Sustainable Groundwater Management: Recharging Groundwater from a Water Rights Perspective

Themed “Industry Innovation,” this year’s conference will focus on innovations in industry operations, marketing, and applications and will include a keynote address from Michael Greene of Imerys and Nicole Krenner of 3M on successful mineral product research and marketing, innovative concrete building construction, and transportation trends.

Downey Brand water law attorney David Cameron will be presenting on Tuesday, November 8th on the importance of groundwater recharge under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act of 2014.  He will discuss the methods by which groundwater recharge may occur, the legal structures by which recharge may be accomplished, and the fees and costs associated with temporay versus long-term permits.
