AB 52, Tribal Cultural Resources, and CEQA

Effective July 1, 2015, Assembly Bill 52 added “tribal cultural resources” as a new category of environmental resources that must be considered under the California Environmental Quality Act as well as additional requirements for notice and consultation with tribes.
