Prominent Attorney James Morris Joins Downey Brand

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that highly-regarded attorney James M. Morris has joined the firm as of January 1, 2018.

In his more than four decades of practicing law in the Central Valley of California, Jim Morris has represented clients in every aspect of agriculture, including farmers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, and aerial applicators. His practice has covered a wide spectrum of litigation and transactional matters for individuals, small businesses, and international corporations. Morris will join the Stockton office of Downey Brand.

Throughout his career, Morris has been a passionate supporter of Valley concerns and has dedicated significant time to community, political, and non-profit organizations, often in a leadership role. He holds a B.A. in political science from University of California, Davis, and earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University.
