Downey Brand’s San Francisco Office Welcomes Attorneys Nicole Martin and Hina Gupta

Downey Brand is pleased to welcome counsel Nicole Martin and associate Hina Gupta to its San Francisco office.

Nicole is experienced in numerous environmental and land use laws, advising clients in connection with CEQA, CERCLA, and CLRRA, as well as the Clean Water Act and California’s Hazardous Waste Control Law. Clients seeking to purchase and redevelop contaminated properties or ensure compliance with various federal, state, and local environmental and land use laws rely on her counsel. Nicole earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum lade, from University of California, Hastings and a Masters in Environmental Management from Yale University. Prior, she earned a B.A. and a B.S. at the University of California at San Diego.

Hina helps public and private sector clients navigate regulatory, land use, environmental, and municipal law issues on a variety of development projects. Prior to her career as an attorney, Hina worked as an environmental planning consultant preparing CEQA and NEPA compliance documents. Hina earned a B.A. from The School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, India. She went on to earn her M.P.L. from the University of Southern California and her Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School.
