Daria Gossett Named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that Daria Gossett has been named a 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder. A multifaceted seven month-long program, the Pathfinder initiative provides participants with opportunities to learn from career development experts and top leaders in the legal profession in the areas of foundational leadership and relationship-building.

“Developing more women for leadership roles is crucial for the legal profession,” said managing partner Janlynn Fleener. “I’m excited for Daria to participate in LCLD, and I look forward to her many accomplishments.”

The Pathfinder program, which serves as a supplement to training initiatives already in place at LCLD-Member corporations and law firms, provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, cultivating leadership skills, and honing career development strategies. A senior associate and litigation attorney at Downey Brand, Daria’s practice encompasses all aspects of employment litigation and counseling, including everything from pre-lawsuit demands to appeals.

“LCLD provides a unique opportunity to connect with diverse lawyers across the country. I am looking forward to building new relationships in the legal community and applying the leadership skills LCLD teaches at Downey Brand,” Daria said.
