Adrian represents large national companies, regional businesses, sole proprietors, and individuals.

He is experienced in handling a diverse range of litigation matters including corporate disputes, real property disputes, food and agriculture litigation, products liability actions, and actions involving fraud, unfair competition, trade libel and antitrust claims. His practice also includes significant involvement with construction litigation matters. Adrian routinely practices in federal and state court, and is well versed in alternative dispute resolution procedures, including mediation and arbitration. Adrian efficiently and effectively handles all phases of the litigation process, including pretrial pleading and motion practice, discovery and depositions, expert workup, mediation, trial, and appeal.


  • First chaired two week bench trial involving claims for fraud and trespass against large renewable energy developer to a favorable judgment. Obtained a post-trial award of attorneys' fees in excess of 1.6 million dollars.
  • Obtained favorable judgment for a defendant in a products liability action alleging several million dollars of damage by obtaining a favorable demurrer ruling denying plaintiff’s request for leave to amend the complaint.
  • Obtained a favorable decision on a plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment in an unlawful detainer dispute involving several hundred acres of real property.
  • Second chaired two week jury trial involving breach of contract and fraud claims to a favorable verdict for the client including a several hundred thousand dollar judgment.
  • Second chaired two week jury trial involving allegations of several hundred thousand dollars in crop damage and obtained a favorable pre-verdict settlement.
  • Obtained a defense judgment in a title dispute involving several hundred acres of real property.
  • Assisted in representation of an individual in a FINRA securities arbitration arising out of the purchase of auction-rate securities and obtained a favorable settlement.
  • Successfully obtained a writ of attachment in a case involving breach of a promissory note which ultimately led to a favorable settlement.
  • Represented a general contractor in construction defect litigation related to a large public construction project and obtained a favorable settlement.
  • Represented a general contractor in a suit against an a project management firm arising out of construction operations on a public works project and obtained a favorable settlement.
