Tax Representative Experience
Our tax experience includes:
- Advising clients on federal, state and local tax issues including
nontaxable corporate reorganizations, partnership allocations and
distributions, debt restructuring, employee compensation, taxation
of settlements and like-kind exchanges.
- Serving as lead tax counsel for target company in $300 million stock
acquisition of computer company.
- Representing commercial businesses including, oil, gas and other
resource clients in tax matters including advising clients, negotiating
with assessors and appearing before assessment appeals boards and
trial and appellate courts.
- Advising and guiding PRPs on the formation of multi-party trust
to conduct multi-million dollar emergency response actions at abandoned
waste oil recycling facility.
- Providing tax analysis and proposed bankruptcy reorganization of
$250 million partnership group.
