Deferred Compensation
We counsel and assist employers in designing, establishing and operating
nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, stock option plans,
phantom stock plans and other equity or performance based deferred compensation
arrangements. Recently enacted changes to the Internal Revenue Code
adding new section 409A necessitate a complete review of all deferred
compensation arrangements maintained by employers, as the costs of noncompliance
can be substantial.
