Successfully argued for preemption of California state common law claims by CERCLA under principles of conflict preemption resulting in dismissal of all state common law claims conflicting with CERCLA

Representing grocery store chain and car rental corporation in CERCLA action involving multiple PRPs concerning vinyl chloride contamination in closed municipal landfill

Served as lead associate in representation of trust, as successor to decedent defendant, in CERCLA contribution action involving recovery of costs as a result of contamination by TCE, PCE, and other chlorinated solvents

Aided in representation of PRP trust conducting multi-million dollar response action at abandoned used oil recycling facility and cost recovery efforts against hundreds of PRPs

Assisted in defense of corporate defendant in complex RICO action involving claims over disputed water rights
