Provided key analysis of separate property tracking issues in multi-million dollar reimbursement claim, which lead to favourable settlement for client. Successfully represented Peruvian citizen in international child abduction case resulting in return of client’s child to Peru. Successfully represented client seeking to prevent visitation of father who had abducted children from the U.S. to Turkey, and sought custody upon the children’s return to the U.S. Represented and counselled a variety of clients through the custody mediation process in cases involving high conflict parenting issues. Represented numerous clients at mandatory settlement conferences before trial resulting in settlement of all issues. Conducted and defended multiple depositions on complex business valuation, property characterization, and child custody matters. Represented and counseled clients regarding domestic violence restraining order issues. Represented prevailing party defending against modification of post-judgment spousal support order. Successfully negotiated numerous Marital Settlement Agreements involving complex community property issues, business valuation and accounting issues, and contested child custody matters.
