Andrew's
practice focuses on advising clients in all aspects of environmental and land
use law. He has extensive experience in toxic torts, soil and groundwater
cleanup, environmental diligence, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA),
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act,
the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA),
underground storage tanks (USTs) and California's Proposition 65. Andrew has
worked with regulatory agencies on permitting issues and resolving violations
on behalf of various clients. Additionally, Andrew has significant experience
litigating and bringing cases to resolution in both state and federal courts.
Prior
to joining Downey Brand, Andrew practiced environmental and land use law in
Los Angeles for the law firms of Mayer Brown LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP.
Andrew graduated from William & Mary Law School, where he was a member of
the William & Mary Law Review.
