Experience

Jan Schori serves as Of Counsel at Downey Brand. In 1994, she was appointed as general manager to SMUD, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, where she was responsible for leading one of the largest public power systems in the nation. She held that post until 2008, when she joined Downey Brand. Prior to serving as SMUD's general manager, she spent five years as the utility district's general counsel.
