Downey Brand Partner Appointed To Tuolumne County Superior Court

July 27, 2015 (Sacramento, CA) – Downey Brand is pleased to announce that Kevin M. Seibert has been appointed by Governor Edmond G. Brown, Jr. to a judgeship in the Tuolumne County Superior Court. Seibert will be sworn in on August 7, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the historic courthouse in Sonora. Seibert has been a partner with Downey Brand since 2000, specializing in complex business litigation matters for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to family-owned businesses. Prior to joining Downey Brand, he was a partner with Steinheimer, Riggio, Haydel and Mordaunt from 1991 to 2000, and an associate from 1985 to 1990.

In addition to being a seasoned litigator widely recognized for his skill and professionalism, Kevin is actively involved in the legal community as a member of Tuolumne County Bar Association and the San Joaquin County Bar Association. Additionally, Kevin has been elected a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has received a preeminent rating from the nation’s foremost peer review service. He earned his J.D. from the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and his B.A. from Brigham Young University.
