Downey Brand Welcomes Aaron Johnson to Estate Planning and Taxation Practices in Sacramento

Downey Brand is pleased to announce that Aaron Johnson has joined the firm’s estate planning and taxation practices. Working out of the firm’s Sacramento office, Aaron (formerly of Wilke Fleury) has been routinely involved in various types of corporate and transactional work involving business succession planning, tax, and estate planning.

After having practiced for firms in the Central Valley and Sacramento areas for the past decade, Aaron’s presence here is well-established. He advises clients on numerous business-related procedures and issues, as well as tax planning, engaging state and federal tax authorities when controversies arise, and the administration of trusts and estate tax returns. Aaron’s wealth of knowledge and years of experience make him a multi-faceted resource and reliable ally for individuals, families, small businesses, and large corporations alike.

Aaron earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho in 2007 and his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University in 2009.

Aaron and his wife of 19 years have five children ranging in age from 18 years to 4 years, all of whom he enjoys spending time with when he is not hard at work.
